Hellerwork, Dipl. Shaw Method, FIOS, ASA is an experienced bodywork therapist & health educator of many years standing and author of The Owners Guide to the Body, published in 1999.
Way back in 1982 Roger had an appalling lower back problem. As a result of this he overcame his scepticism about "alternative" treatment and had a few sessions of a little known therapy system called Hellerwork. He had discovered his vocation in life, & travelled to California and trained with the founder, Joseph Heller in 1983. Since then he has had a continuous full-time practice in London and developed a number of other practices in the home counties.
Over a systematic programme, Hellerwork Structural Integration improves your posture so much that you can release chronic tension which you may have been building up for years. Your ability to manage stress is also much enhanced, because rather than constantly fighting against gravity, a body in harmony with the gravitational field is getting support from the Earth, and this frees your energy for something more useful, like achieving your goals in life
