I have been an individual, couples and group psychotherapist for 35 years, trained in the cognitive-behavioural psychological language of Transactional Analysis.

In 1980, a man who had been in one of my psychotherapy groups for two years said he just consulted an astrologer and he asked me to listen to the tape recording he had made of the reading of his horoscope. Very sceptically, I listened, but within five minutes I was astounded. With no knowledge of my patient other than his time, place and date of birth, the astrologer had already said everything – and more – about him that I had discovered over two years of analysis. I consulted the same astrologer for myself and was overwhelmed by the authenticity and depth of what he told me.

At first, it seemed to me that astrology and psychology were incompatible and that I couldn’t legitimately practise both. But soon I came to realize that they are two sides of one coin – nature and nurture – out of which we are all made.

So, since 1983 when I qualified as an astrologer, I have practised both as a Transactional Analyst and a counselling astrologer.

As well as my private practice I have been a consultant to many businesses and organizations, teaching T.A. to health professionals, facilitating the personal development of business executives, and team-building within companies.

My special expertise is in brief therapy, with couples and with parents in relationship to their children.
